The fall is upon us with all the color Mother Nature can give us, crisp air and shorter days. The fall is probably the busiest time in the production area of the winery, with processing apples and grapes, and the normal everyday activities, the cellar is a flurry of activity.

The tasting room is busy as well. Wine lover, cider fanatics and fall foliage seekers drive up our hill to take advantage of everything fall has to offer.

We have a few new wines and ciders in the tasting room. For our guest who have a taste for the sweeter things, our Grapeshot (a sweet white) and Minieball (a sweet red) are ready to be sampled and taken to your table. The 2013 Merlot is out and available, as is the Jack’s Hard Cider, Dry Hopped.

While the cellar will slow down as the weather turns cooler, the tasting room keeps hopping. We have great new events and old favorites that will take you up to the end of the year. The always fun Hauser After Hours will cut back to just Saturday nights in November but it will remain a party on the hill! Wine glass painting classes and Paint Nite continue into November and December and Ladies Night will help you find holiday gifts in December.

We also have something new! On November 20, help us solve a crime! Crime and Pun-ishment, A Murder Mystery will entertain you beginning at 6:30. Check our website for all the mysterious details.
