The apple and peach blossoms have given way to lush green trees and grass. The winery is beautiful in June! The weather, usually cooperates, to give us the perfect month to enjoy wine (and hard cider) outside. June is also the month for some great events…to enjoy more wine and hard cider!
Last week’s blog was all about the music…this week…everything else!
The first week of June, on the sixth, brings us Ladies Night! Start the summer off right with a night with the girls. Shop, drink, and do a little Zumba! Sarah will be helping us get fit with some Zumba from 7:30-9…bring your dancing shoes! There will be jewelry to buy…Silpada, Premier Jewelry, and Cookie Lee will all be here to help make you sparkle. bare Skin Care and Mary Kay will be around to make your skin sparkle as well! Women (and some men) need accessories! Fibi and Clo Sandals will be here to adorn our feet, and Robin’s Bags and What Knots will help with a new purse! With all these new items, you need to travel! World Ventures can help! And last but not least, Tastefully Simple and Pampered Chef will be here to show us what we need in the kitchen! Fabio Carella will be catering on Ladies Night so that we do not starve!
This June we are feeling romantic. On June 10, we will hold a mass renewing of the vows, here on the hill. It is a celebration of love! Come up in your wedding attire or favorite pair of jeans and renew your vows. It will be a mass renewal of vows with all couples participating at the same time! Afterwards sit and stay awhile with a glass of wine and gaze into the eyes of your soulmate! The ceremony is free. For $10/couple you can upgrade to the renewal package which includes the following:
- a piece of wedding cake, two small glasses of wine, box of chocolates, a certificate signed by the two ministers who are officiating
- Officiated by Presbyterian Ministers Candace and Lou Nyiri
Later that week, on June 13, our popular series, Dancing with the Vines returns with the Spring Swing! Get your dancing shoes! Bring a partner or come by yourself. The evening starts with a welcome reception from 6-7, the class will begin at 7 and then end at 8 . Students are more then welcome to stay, have a glass of wine and practice! $5 a person or $8 a couple
On Father’s Day, June 17, bring up your Dad for a glass of wine or pint of hard cider. The Highwater Grill will be here to serve us food!
After a busy month of events on the hill, we need to relax. Yoga on the Hill is back on June 24. Unwind, breath, and stretch in a peaceful environment! All you need is a mat, $10 (cash only please), and a great attitude!
