Just don’t forget to have wines and hard ciders on hand with that sticky, sweet and spicy food!

Serving grilled veggies

Wine – Try Chardonnay.  Our 2013 Chardonnay has spent most of its time in a stainless steel tank giving it notes of citrus.  It will work with fresh vegetables.

Cider – Try Jack’s Hard Cider, Dry Hopped.  The lemongrass notes of this cider will taste so good next to the earthy notes of vegetables.

Serving grilled seafood

Wine –  Try Pinot Gris.  This slightly acidic wine just works.

Cider – Try Jack’s Hard Cider, Conewago.  Bubbles and seafood!

Serving grilled sausage

Wine – Try a Riesling, our Wheatfield White is part Riesling.  Fruity with a touch of sweetness, it will work with the spice in sausage.

Cider – Try Jack’s Hard Cider, Helen’s Blend, the sweet with the spicy.

Serving Ribs

Wine – Try Meritage, 2013.  If the ribs are fall off the bone wonderful, your wine should be too!

Cider – Try Jack’s Hard Cider, Pear.  The sweet pear and apple cider will stand up next to most barbeque sauces!

Mr. Piggles Roasts will be serving up BBQ on June 19 for our father’s Day event.  John Mayer will be playing dad’s favorite songs.  See you soon!

Recently visited your tasting room in G burg. Enjoyed the pear cider & Jenny Wade white. Would like to purchase more. Will be visiting Harrisburg PA soon. Is there any place to purchase your tasty beverages?
    Thanks

      Hi Jeff,
Most of our wines are available just at our retail locations, 410 Cashtown Road, Gettysburg Square and in Dillsburg. Our Abe’s apple wine can be found at certain state store throughout PA, but we never really know which store.

Our Jack’s Hard Cider is distributed throughout the state as well, check http://jackshardcider.com/ to find a location.

      Or just come to Gettysburg!
